Loaner. Glad my local Lexus dealer didn’t do that - when I had a loaner for service on my IS, the only thing indicating it was a loaner was a vanity plate.

California dealerships generally never put Dealership decals on customer cars, EXCEPT for loaner cars.
Loaner cars is free advertisement and makes it easier for floor guys to spot them and move them around the dealership.

A big Hyundai dealer in these parts tramp stamps the rear window of all their cars kind of like this. Including the Genesis.
